Man fighting for life after alleged stabbing in Brisbane

A man in his 30s is fighting for his life in a Brisbane hospital following an alleged stabbing in the city’s south early Saturday morning. Emergency responders were called to the scene, where the victim was found with severe, life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigations by police suggest that the man was assaulted shortly before 4:00 a.m. The incident occurred at a property located on Barcelona Street in the suburb of Wishart.

Attending paramedics provided care to the man at the scene before transporting him in a critical condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital. He remains at the medical facility in a life-threatening state.

Police officers have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assault. Another man, who is known to the victim, is currently helping law enforcement officers with their ongoing inquiries.
