Tedesco or Walsh? Kangaroos skipper quizzed

Australian captain Isaah Yeo has addressed ongoing speculation regarding the team's selection for the upcoming World Cup opener. As the Kangaroos prepare for their first match of the tournament, the coaching staff and leadership group have yet to confirm who will occupy the fullback position.

The primary point of uncertainty centers on the competition between James Tedesco and Reece Walsh. Both players have been identified as candidates for the role, leaving supporters and analysts to speculate on which athlete will be named in the starting lineup.

Yeo faced questions from the media regarding the selection dilemma during a recent appearance. Despite the public interest in the decision, the captain maintained a neutral stance, offering no definitive confirmation on which of the two players would be given the nod for the opening fixture.

The team management continues to keep their final strategy under wraps as the tournament approaches. By withholding confirmation of the fullback position, the Kangaroos have maintained a level of ambiguity that has become a focal point of the lead-up to the World Cup.

As the squad finalizes its preparations, the choice between the experienced Tedesco and the dynamic Walsh remains a key talking point. The final decision is expected to be revealed when the official team list for the opening match is released.
