Quentin Tarantino is scheduled to appear at the upcoming AFI Fest for a special screening and conversation centered on his film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The event will highlight the director’s work, providing an opportunity for audiences to engage with the filmmaker regarding the production.
In addition to the AFI Fest appearance, Tarantino is preparing for his West End debut with a production titled The Popinjay Cavalier. The play is officially set to launch at the Phoenix Theatre, marking a new stage venture for the director.
Separate from these projects, a new film featuring the character Cliff Booth and starring Brad Pitt has been announced. The movie is scheduled to debut in IMAX theaters over Thanksgiving weekend. Following its theatrical run, the film will be released on the streaming platform Netflix.
The AFI Fest, which is hosting the Tarantino event, has also confirmed its programming for future editions. Organizers announced that the animated film Wildwood, produced by Laika, is slated to open the festival in 2026.
Elsewhere in the entertainment industry, Netflix has confirmed the renewal of the series Crew Girl for a second season. Additionally, director Han Jun-hee recently discussed his work on the project The Blue Road, emphasizing his creative approach to filmmaking and risk-taking in the industry.
