Adobe names Anil Chakravarthy as CEO - Reuters

Adobe has announced a change in its senior leadership, naming Anil Chakravarthy as the company’s next chief executive officer.

Shantanu Narayan, who has served as Adobe’s chief executive for more than a decade, will transition to the role of executive chair.

The transition plan calls for Narayan to work closely with Chakravarthy, providing guidance to ensure a smooth handover and to support Adobe’s ongoing transformation initiatives.

Narayan had previously indicated his intention to step down in March, and the appointment of Chakravarthy marks the next phase of leadership for the software firm.

With Chakravarthy at the helm, Adobe aims to continue its growth trajectory and advance its strategic priorities under the oversight of an executive chair.
