Jim Geoghan, a television writer and producer best known for co‑creating the Disney Channel sitcom *The Suite Life of Zack & Cody*, died at the age of 79 in Los Angeles.
Reports differ on the exact date of his passing; one account lists September 6, while another states he died on Sunday, September 7.
His daughter, Genevieve Geoghan, confirmed his death. No cause of death has been released at this time.
Geoghan co‑created the series in 2005 with Danny Kallis. The show featured twin brothers Cole and Dylan Sprouse in the lead roles, with supporting performances by Ashley Tisdale, Brenda Strong and other cast members.
