Netflix has officially canceled the Texas-based romantic drama Ransom Canyon after two seasons. The decision to conclude the series comes approximately six weeks after the platform released the show's second season on July 23.
The series, which served as an adaptation of the book series by Jodi Thomas, centered on the lives and relationships of characters living in the Texas ranching community. Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly led the cast as the central figures, Staten and Quinn.
The cancellation marks the end of the production, with the streaming service opting not to move forward with a third season. The show had previously garnered attention for its portrayal of the interconnected lives of the residents of the titular canyon.
