This was followed by a 9-0 surge late in the quarter, which helped the United States establish a 73-57 advantage heading into the final frame.
Breanna Stewart led the American effort with a double-double, recording 22 points and 10 rebounds. Jackie Young contributed 18 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Kahleah Copper added 15 points. Chelsea Gray and Caitlin Clark also reached double figures, each scoring 12 points for the winning side.
