Donna Gigliotti and Mike Farah Named New Producers Guild Presidents

The Producers Guild of America announced Tuesday that Donna Gigliotti and Mike Farah have been elected as its new presidents. The pair will assume the leadership roles later this year, succeeding the current co‑presidents who have served since 2022.

Gigliotti comes to the position with a distinguished film‑production career, most notably as the Oscar‑winning producer of “Shakespeare in Love.” Her résumé includes a range of high‑profile projects across film and television, and she has been a longtime member of the guild’s leadership and advisory bodies.

Farah joins Gigliotti as co‑president after earning an Emmy for his work on the series “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.” He previously served as the chief executive officer of the comedy platform Funny or Die and has produced a variety of television and digital content, bringing extensive experience in both scripted and unscripted formats.

The outgoing presidents, Donald De Line and Stephanie Allain, have led the guild since 2022. Their tenure oversaw a period of significant industry change, including evolving distribution models and heightened focus on diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Both newly elected leaders described their appointments as “an incredible honor to serve as presidents of the Producers Guild of America at such a pivotal moment for our industry,” underscoring the guild’s commitment to navigating ongoing transformations in film and television production.
