Harry Kane scores twice as he equals England cap record in win over Czechs

England defeated Czechia 3‑0 at Wembley on Tuesday in the UEFA Nations League, securing their third consecutive win in the competition. The match marked the final group fixture for Thomas Tuchel’s side, who entered the game having already qualified for the next stage.

Trent Alexander‑Arnold returned to the right‑back position, making his first appearance at Wembley for England in two years, while Morgan Rogers featured prominently in the midfield and attack. Real Madrid right‑back Alexander‑Arnold forced an early save from Czech goalkeeper Lukas Horníček with a well‑taken free‑kick.

The win followed England’s narrow 3‑2 loss to Spain in their opening Nations League match and a 2‑0 victory in Prague against the same Czech side earlier in the campaign. The three‑point result leaves England in a strong position in their group as the tournament progresses.
