Taylor Swift to Perform at This Year’s Academy Museum Gala

Taylor Swift has been confirmed as the musical headliner for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ upcoming gala. The pop star will appear at the museum’s sixth annual fundraising event, which is scheduled for October 17, 2026, in Los Angeles.

The gala serves as the museum’s primary fundraiser and is a prominent fixture on the Hollywood social calendar. It will be held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the institution dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of film.

The evening will also honor three distinguished figures in the entertainment industry: actress Charlize Theron, actor and playwright Colman Domingo, and filmmaker‑composer John Carpenter. Each honoree will be recognized for their contributions to cinema and the arts.

In addition to Swift’s performance, the program will feature appearances by the honorees, with Carpenter highlighted for his dual role as a director and composer, and Domingo noted for his work across stage and screen. The event is expected to draw a wide array of industry leaders, donors, and media.

While specific details of Swift’s set have not been released, organizers have indicated that the performance will close the night’s proceedings. Speculation among observers suggests she may include the song “I Knew It, I …,” though the final lineup remains unconfirmed.
